From its inception in 1903, Catholic Daughters has grown and developed into the largest organization of Catholic women in the world. Under the patronage of the Blessed Mother, its members are united by their faith in Jesus Christ and their devotion to the Church and the Holy See.
The purpose of the organization is to participate in the religious, charitable and educational Apostolates of the Church. CDA engages in creative and spiritual programs, which provide its members with the opportunity to develop their special God-given talents in a meaningful way to positively influence the welfare of the Church and all peoples throughout the world. Our motto is “Unity and Charity”.
Any Catholic lay or religious woman, 18 years of age or older, who support the Church and desire to participate in social and charitable activities shall be eligible and entitled to membership.
