The Finance Council consists of five to nine parishioners appointed by the Pastor whose purpose to advise him on financial matters. These include assisting in preparating the annual budget, and in ensuring that financial resources and parish goals are compatible. The council recommends security procedures for handling money and recommends financial policies to the administrator in light of current policies issued by the diocesan finance and legal offices.
The council members are appointed by the administrator and serve a term of three years. They may be appointed for a second three year term.
The Finance Council meets on a monthly basis. If you would like to contact the Finance Council with questions, concerns, or feedback, please email [email protected]
